Modification Of Bottle Cap

This project addressed a critical issue with the tamper-evident rings used in dairy company bottles, where the ring would sometimes slip from the bottle without properly separating when the cap was opened. This not only compromised the tamper-evident function but also led to a poor user experience. The redesigned tamper-evident ring features inward-tilted wings that prevent slippage and ensure the ring separates smoothly when the cap is twisted. In addition to solving the slippage problem, the new design reduced the plastic used in the cap by 8%, leading to cost savings and a lower environmental impact. This innovation ensures a reliable tamper-evident feature while promoting sustainability.
